Professionals and managers need to maintain successful, rewarding relationships with their
members. Keeping that relationship successful requires thinking about how the golf course
handicap rankings are distributed, since the rankings are used in so many forms of golf
competition. Consider the following:
Here's How We Can Help You. Our statistical analysis shows you and your members the proper allocation of handicap strokes on your golf course holes. For each ranking (Men's or Women's, for example) we first develop appropriate comparison groups, based on your members 18-hole handicap ratings. We then obtain enough scorecards to provide a statistically valid sample of qualifying scores. Hole By Hole uses a minimum of 200 scores from each of two groups of qualified players. Just have your members drop off their scorecards at the pro shop or with the ranger, after they post their scores. When you order our service, well provide the post-paid mailers for you to send the scorecards to us. Once we have enough data, we determine the proper handicap stroke allocations for your course. These rankings are the best method to use handicaps for traditional games such as Nassau. We then give you a full report that gives you all the information you need to answer your members questions about the new allocations. Hole By Hole can calculate either or both the mens and womens handicap rankings, as you prefer. We honor all requests for confidentiality, and will return all member information to you if desired. Added bonus report We also provide you with an additional report, in which we show you the Hardest Hole Rankings of all 18 holes. This report shows you the actual relative difficulty of the holes on your course. Your members can then compare those results with their own experience. The Hardest Hole Rankings can also be used for special tournaments, too. The USGA recently reported that some golf clubs prefer these rankings for Stableford competitions or four-ball stroke play. Whats the fee for our service? First-time clients qualify for an introductory rate of only $195.00 per 18-hole ranking, payable in two installments. An initial $100 payment allows us to begin the work, and the remaining $95 is due when our results are ready for delivery. Any questions? If you need further information about handicap allocations, take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. Thank you for your consideration! Frederick H. Schranck, President |
